We are looking to add an energetic, open-minded operations support manager to join our team. As an Operations Support Manager, you will have the opportunity to support multiple accounts daily operations, and catering services.

Cater to You specializes in providing private schools with fresh, quality, healthy meals from sustainable and local resources. For over 25 years we’ve used our unique, hands-on approach to deliver food service programs to our network of schools.

While we are known for quality food service programs and exceptional customer service, we provide a wide range of daily catering services to each of our schools as well.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting unit level Cater to You accounts to ensure compliance with client, company, and local health department standards.

• Supporting unit level managers in planning, organizing, and controlling food service programs.

• Assisting management teams that are experiencing challenges in operation efficiently and effectively.

• Managing shared inboxes, receiving phone calls, scheduling meetings and calls for operations team.

• Maintaining records such as menu database, invoices, vendor statements, staffing sheets, and other company communications.

• Assisting with a variety of clerical and administrative duties.

• Setting a model for high quality standards for culinary professionalism.

• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote their consistent application.

• Auditing assigned units to ensure conformance with company, regulations, and codes regarding food storage, preparation, sanitation, and record keeping.

• Providing guidance and leadership to chef managers and other team members in support of the unit operations.

• In partnership with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing projects and deliverables to the needs of the business.

• Demonstrating superior time management skills which include managing multiple events and activities at the same time.

• Motivating and mentoring chef managers to develop their talents and improve culture of passion and hospitality.

• Interacting with client management at each location and establishing/maintaining effective performance-based client and customer relations for both catering and operations.

• Ensuring catering event planning, execution, and analysis meet Cater to You standards and exceed client expectations through every stage of the event.

• Providing services in support of the sales effort through analysis of current processes.

• Proposing new ideas to improve department operating standards, event planning and implementation processes.

• Other duties assigned by leadership and based on business needs.

Your Pay:

$65,000 - $75,000 / year

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least three to five years of management experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Financial and business acumen.

• Experience managing catering large volume, high end catering or event planning.

• Excellent computer skills and proficiency at learning software.

• Intermediate skill with and knowledge of Catertrax.

• Energetic personality and able to adapt in different environments.

• Food safety certification through ServSafe and local health authorities.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in education foodservice.

• Contract management experience.

• Experience working with multiple units and multiple clients in a high-volume setting.
