The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations, the incumbent will interact and have relationships with fellow Supply Chain staff, administration and vendor reps. They will be expected to participate in small group meetings as needed.
Responsibilities
The Non-Student Short-Term Casual will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Scheduling the retrieval of instrumentation from PG residents
- Refurbishing of the materials from PG depts
- Working with incoming PG residents to assign new instrumentation to them
- Coordinating with vendor reps the purchasing and delivery of materials required for incoming PG residents
- Assisting Supply Chain staff with the coordination and actual counting of inventory materials across the dental clinics
- Compiling finalized data from inventory counts to be sent to CDM Finance and Administration groups
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Current high school student
Other Requirements
- Must be computer savvy and understand basic programs, such as Excel
- Communication and customer service skills must be excellent
- Ability to articulate questions or issues that arise with the materials or inventory count to senior members of the Supply Chain staff
- Problem solving skills and "outside-of-the-box" thinking
- Requires concentration, focus and attention to detail
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability
