Grant Thornton is seeking a Microsoft Platform Manager (Manager) to join the team. Approved office locations can be found below.
Information Technology (IT) – Microsoft Platform Manager – Manager
The Microsoft Platform Manager will work with IT business partners to oversee the development, implementation, and management of the firm’s Microsoft platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Microsoft technologies, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive technology strategy and execution from an enterprise perspective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the strategic planning, management, and deployment of applications on the Microsoft platform (e.g., Azure, Office 365, and Copilot) for the enterprise
Oversee the implementation and integration of Microsoft technologies to enhance business processes and drive digital transformation
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Manage application performance, scalability, and security to ensure optimal operation and end user satisfaction
Develop and implement best practices for application management, deployment, and maintenance
Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Assist in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure cost-effective solutions and services
Ensure adherence to quality standards for multiple products
Participate in ongoing production and end user support
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field
6 to 10 years of experience in application management and development, preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and apply concepts strategically
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365) are highly desirable
ITIL, ITSM (and/or ITOP), PMP certifications or equivalent strongly preferred
Proven track record of successfully supporting complex technology initiatives from initiation to completion, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Denver, CO and Baltimore, MD offices only is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year.
The base salary range for this position in the firm’s Washington, DC, Bellevue, WA, Los Angeles, CA, Newport Beach, CA San Diego, CA, and New York, NY offices only is between $129,600 and $194,400 per year.
The base salary range for this position in the firm’s San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA offices only is between $138,000 and $207,000 per year.

Benefits for internship positions: Grant Thornton interns are eligible to participate in the firm’s medical, dental and vision insurance programs and the firm’s employee assistance program. Grant Thornton employees may be eligible for a discretionary, annual bonus based on individual and firm performance, subject to the terms, conditions and eligibility criteria of the applicable bonus plan or program. Interns and seasonal employees are not eligible for bonus compensation.
