Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for producing and preparing efficient, economical and reliable bus schedules and work programs for NYCT bus service, for normal course of business and/or borough network redesigns. Analyzes and evaluates traffic and ridership data on bus operations. Assists the Senior Schedule Manager in the preparation of estimates of financial impact of potential budget modifications, service changes and NYCT Labor agreements. May assist the Senior Director in the creation of the Platform Budget and other day to day budget functions.

Compensation

$75,689-$107,430 (Grade G – 437)

Education and Experience:

Five (5) years of progressively responsible transportation experience, one (1) year of which must have been in the schedule department of a large transit authority or firm, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or

A bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, mathematics, planning or transportation planning, or their equivalent, and two (2) years supervisory or managerial experience in the schedules department of a large transit authority or firm; or

Education and experience equal to the above.
