Neuberger Berman Manager, Private Wealth Operating Platform in New York, New York
Summary:
As a member of the Centralized Business Services Team, the Vice President will provide onboarding and client service support to Neuberger Berman Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Management and Trust Company teams. The Vice President will partner with Supervision, Compliance, Business Control and Operations as a point of service contact to ensure a highly efficient and rewarding client experience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth Teams to provide administrative and support services to new and existing clients.
Provide policy and procedural guidance to junior members of the team, address escalated internal/external client service inquiries/requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assess and process Non-Discretionary and Discretionary new account and maintenance requests. Provide oversight, data validation and subject matter expertise in the review of updates to client relationships, allocation groups, retirement risk profiles, strategy selection, Investment Policy Statements, document generation
Process account maintenance requests including: KYC updates (name changes, personal data updates, address changes, investment objective updates, etc.), control, beneficial owner and interested party updates, and account updates such as margin, check writing, options, etc.
Review and process requests for fund disbursements, gifting securities, ACATs and DTC transfers.
Review, streamline and revise day to day operations to improve team efficiency and output
Assist with the implementation of new firm initiatives and ad hoc reports/projects as assigned by management
Identify and flag suspicious activity to mitigate risk and prevent fraudulent account behavior and potential fraud exposure
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with 5-10 years client service/supervision/operational experience in the finance industry
Series 7 and 66 licenses – Series 24 a bonus
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Professional presence with strong leadership skills
Well-organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload based on evolving needs and circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with DocuSign, Salesforce, Aladdin Wealth applications

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $95,000-$130,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
