What you'll do...

Job Summary: We're seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive the B2C success of our ambitious Local Marketplace initiative. This role will be at the forefront of our expansion, enabling multiple market launches that will help scale the business as it grows.

About Walmart Local Marketplace

The Local Marketplace team is a newly formed business unit within Walmart Marketplace dedicated to building and scaling new ways for customers to conveniently shop local businesses and products they love within the Walmart app and Walmart.com.

What You'll do: This person will serve as the primary liaison between marketing, go-to-market, and customer experience teams to ensure aligned execution. The ability to align these cross-functional groups will be crucial in executing smooth launches that resonate with local consumers and drive rapid adoption.

What you'll bring:

Market Launch Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market playbooks, encompassing pre-launch, launch, and post launch phases.

  • Define team responsibilities, establish timelines, and create scalable processes to accelerate market launches and drive market adoption.

  • Validate critical launch hypotheses through in-depth customer research, data analysis, and iterative testing.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators to assess market health, success, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Conduct post-launch analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize future launches. Codify best practices.

Launch Planning & Execution:

  • Lead and project manage go-to-market planning within the marketing team and across relevant teams.

  • Streamline cross-functional communications and processes to ensure efficient launch execution.

  • Track launch progress and identify potential risks and challenges so they are proactively addressed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business , Marketing, Communications, or related field and 5-7 years' experience in marketing or related field.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
