Kroll, LLC Manager I, Operations in New York, New York

The Operations Manager role at Kroll demands an experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering and providing support within a large corporate office space. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and clients. The role also demands planning the events from start to finish according to the event brief and ensuring customer satisfaction from the target audience.

The candidate will report to the Americas Operations Manager while working in tandem with the Senior Facilities Management Specialist within the NYC Office. The candidate will also work closely with the NYC City Leader.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Supervision of the Front of House Team along with the Front of House area. Ensuring that guests are received in a professional manner and receive first class attention.
  • Working in tandem with the Senior Facilities Management Specialist to ensure that both positions can be back up to the other in the event of vacation and sickness.
  • To work with the relevant stake holders to assist with the required audits and various other certifications for the office space.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Building Management
  • Ensure that key stakeholders are looked after and always addressed in a highly professional manner.
  • To assist in the planning and organization of internal office events along with the respective EA/team support.
  • Liaising with the internal client to understand event objective.
  • Preparing event scope and budget requirements.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with venue, suppliers, and vendors, in collaboration with the procurement team when necessary.
  • Assist in the Coordination of all operations including equipment, catering, theme, dcor, entertainment and promotional activities for the event.
  • Management of AV and technical requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with Kroll's health and safety regulations and providing relevant risk assessments.
  • Planning and managing events' calendar in tandem with the City Leader


Essential traits:
  • Five or more years of experience in office management and strong office management skills
  • Experience sourcing and communicating with suppliers and vendors directly.
  • Knowledge of NYC venues and research skills.
  • Experience with RFPs.
  • Confident in managing budgets and event forecasts.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, priorities meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of AV and production.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proactive and creative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
  • Excellent time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and our employees.
  • Understanding of project management.

The current salary range for this position is $60, 000 to $150, 000
