Netflix Manager, Ads Finance & Strategy - Sales in New York, New York

The Role
The Advertising team is charged with building a new, best-in-class Ads organization to establish Netflix as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue. We are seeking a selfless, curious, and passionate individual contributor Manager to join our Ads Finance & Strategy (F&S) team. In this role you will partner with our Head of Sales and Sales Ops to understand our target customer base, how we develop our value proposition to be compelling to our customers, and find opportunities to grow this area. You will work closely with a highly cross-functional, global team, and contribute to one of the most impactful transitions we’ll have made in a decade.
Responsibilities:
This role will focus on developing the strategy for our United States & Canada sales organization. Key responsibilities include:
Act as a strategic thought partner to our sales team in partnership with the Sales Ops organization.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform our sales strategy and innovation.
Model and build the financial impact of proposed ads offerings in partnership with FP&A.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the ads organization and product team to define our offering.
Prepare clear and concise presentation materials for stakeholders in small and large forums.
What we’re looking for:
8+ years experience in strategy, investment banking or similar analytical based role with experience working with sales organizations.
Strong modeling skills and comfort with manipulating large datasets in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems.
Very strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver work under tight timelines.
Ability to communicate complex calculations with varying degrees of detail depending on the forum. Strong knowledge of your audience and what they’re looking for.

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $160,000-470,000.
