TITLE: Lippincott - Senior Director in DesignEMPLOYER:Oliver Wyman, LLCDUTIES:Manages day-to-day project work plans and guides team work-flow. Design innovative, integrated solutions across a range of static, dynamic, and interactive media (print, digital, 3D, motion). Gather, organize, and summarize information on client business strategy, industry and competitive dynamics, best practices and customer insights to identify key implications for a project. Develop preliminary concepts into refined, comprehensive design solutions, assist in developing detailed design and branding guidelines, execute project tasks, and meet design goals. Serves as a key point-person and face for the firm with clients and other stakeholders, helping to manage expectations and facilitate discussions. Collaborates with and guides other consultants and designers to explore alternatives and develop thinking. Helps develop and guide junior staff. Maintain client relationships, serving as a Lippincott representative in day-to-day communications, work with and influence client contacts, and shape how clients leverage design to develop intellectual capital. LOCATION:New York, NYREQUIREMENTS:Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Studio Art, Visual Arts, Package Design, or related artistic field + 1 year in any job title involving graphic design experience in a professional setting. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Studio Art, Visual Arts, Package Design, or related artistic field + 3 years in any job title involving graphic design experience in a professional setting also accepted. Prior experience must include: Applying basic design principles to creative work across a range media, including print, digital, 3D, and motion; Incorporating inputs from strategy and research into design development; Conducting interactive design and development, including information design and content architecture utilizing Adobe Suite and MS Office for technical and artistic projects; Using digital prototyping and UX wire framing; Working in animation; Designing programs across a range of static, dynamic, and interactive media, including print, digital and web, three-dimensional, and environmental media sources; Overseeing junior staff on print, digital, and design projects; and Participating in interactive prototyping.50% telework permitted.
