Paramount Lead Privacy Analyst in New York, New York
Overview and Responsibilities:
Paramount Global is hiring a Lead Privacy Analyst! This is a great opportunity to join the Paramount Global Privacy Group and work as part of a collegial and multi-functional team of privacy professionals supporting all of Paramounts divisions globally.
As a Lead Privacy Analyst, you will play a key role on the team that envisions, designs, develops and implements a pragmatic privacy and data protection program. You will also be a subject-matter expert in the frameworks and tools of modern data privacy, including ad technologies used by publishers, and will work with various business functions to learn how they build value using personal information and act as an advisor to educate teams on privacy risks. Additionally, you will collaborate with teams throughout the company and will help us to build and support scalable tools and processes to keep the data of the people that use our services safe.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead a variety of projects related to the implementation of the Paramount Global Privacy Program, including in the areas of privacy rights, privacy preferences management, and privacy risks assessments.
Offer program management support for pivotal initiatives led by the Privacy Group.
Work with Legal, Product, Engineering, and various partners to scope, prioritize and coordinate development efforts with data protection and privacy laws, advertising industries and related requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and assist in removing impediments for the team.
Chip in to the teams effort monitoring data privacy laws and regulations.
Develop training materials educating employees on privacy standard processes.
Establish strong, collaborative relationships with multiple cross-functional partners to accelerate the teams efficiency and deliver impactful results.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the privacy profession including knowledge of global and US privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA.
Creative, forward-thinking individual with a strong interest in Media, Tech, and Privacy.
Strong program management skills and proven enterprise scale experience managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously to successful completion.
Additional Qualifications:
Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals is a plus.
Knowledge of data related initiatives around analytics and tracking, and identity.
Knowledge of the online advertising ecosystem including programmatic technologies and platforms.
Strong documentation skills: ability to build compelling, meticulous documentation that sets up product, sales, and engineering teams for success.
Passion for problem-solving and the ability to find solutions to new questions.
Highly organized, diligent and good at multitasking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A practical ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $135,000.00 - 150,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is bonus eligible.
