Design, develop, and deliver of innovative business solutions for low latency, high throughput, scalable and fault tolerant trading applications, including Nomura’s trade capture and workflow system used globally to model cash and derivative products, facilitate trade capture of real time risk and PnL, and manage trade lifecycle workflows including matching, settlement, allocations, and clearing. Propose and initiate enhancements to existing trading and risk systems of the Rates and Credit business. Work closely with Rates and Credit business stakeholders to drive requirement, development and project estimates. Provide software support to Traders, Operations, Middle Office, and Sales business lines. Conduct proofs of concept on new technologies. Migrate existing projects toward more modernized and automated SDLC. Ensure adherence to SDLC and agile delivery methodology. Assist in moving internal applications to cloud technologies and in analyzing use cases where external cloud providers are needed. Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or as a Lead Developer.* ORMaster’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus three years of experience in the position offered or as a Lead Developer.* *All required experience must have included interfacing with trading desk, gathering user requirements, and building large-scale distributed trade capture applications that are low-latency, high throughput, scalable and fault tolerant; applying knowledge of financial securities (like rates, credit derivatives, bonds, options, and futures) and fixed income trading concepts and processes; supporting electronic trading platforms; and building and working on large-scale distributed and real-time systems using high frequency and low latency systems, Java programming, Rapid Application Development tool like Spring Boot, DevOps tools (including Jenkins, Jira, Gitlab, and Docker for CI/CD), messaging/Middleware technologies (including JMS, Tibco RV, Apache Camel), Agile delivery methodology, service-oriented architecture, cloud-based technologies, Nested Maven, Spring Messaging, Web Socket, and databases including SQL and at least one of the following: Oracle, Sybase, or Sybase IQ on Linux and Windows. #LI-DNI
