Actalent Lead Paint Inspector in New York, New York

Job Title: Lead Paint Inspector Overview

Our Environmental Business Unit provides a wide range of engineering design services, from UST/AST programs to hazardous materials management; site investigation; alternatives analysis; remediation design, and construction support.

Due to our continued growth, we are hiring a Lead Paint Inspectors who hold current SSPC (AMP) C3/C5 certification and have experience monitoring Abrasive Blasting projects for a variety of New York City Transit sites throughout the 5 Boroughs of New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Upload inspection data and provide formatted reports

  • Prepare and review work plans based upon inspection results and program parameters

  • Coordinate work with licensed contractors

  • Collection of airborne particulate samples using high volume and low volume sampling equipment

  • Schedule field operations with client

    Qualifications

  • Qualified candidate must have 2+ years' experience monitoring abrasive blasting projects and current SSPC (AMP) C3/C5 Certification

  • New York City Transit project experience a big

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
