FOX Junior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst in New York, New York
We are looking for a business-minded and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst to help manage our businesses. Working with financial and operational teams across our organization, the Junior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst will create and manage budgets, report monthly results, analyze financial outcomes, and support decision-making across various initiatives. In addition to working with FOX News Media, the Junior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst will support the fast-growing OutKick brand.
Based on your level of experience, you may be considered at either the Junior Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst level.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with budgeting and forecasting of expense and revenue
Book journal entries and estimates
Run profitability and performance reports for the month-end analysis
Track and analyze the performance of key initiatives
Work with operating divisions to manage costs
Support decision-making by building and presenting models that analyze various financial outcomes
Handle day-to-day requests that require financial approval
Create reports and reconcile expense accounts as needed
Review and reconcile invoices, code documents to general ledger accounts, process expense reports, and other duties as assigned
Recommend operational improvements and identify opportunities for growth
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
0-3 years of experience in a financial role.
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related area
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
A desire to work with data.
A team player with the ability to accomplish tasks independently
Detail-oriented approach
Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and grow in your career
Maturity to work directly with business leaders, as needed

Experience working with financial models/budgets
Media, technology, internet, and/or sports sector experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-72,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
