Description We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer to join our team in New York. This role entails developing an innovative native video player for HLS playback augmentation on iOS, designing and executing architectural solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and optimized user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a native video player add-on for HLS playback augmentation on iOS (AVPlayer)

• Design and execute innovative architecture for augmentation and targeting, interacting with multiple third-party APIs, and in-house AR pipeline with complex environmental constraints

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience

• Ensure frame-accurate synchronization between video playback and augmentation layers

• Optimize rendering performance for real-time video augmentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging issues related to video playback and augmentation

• Develop software solutions including installation, integration, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution

• Implement and manage on-device targeting and programmatic integration

• Utilize knowledge of DRM technologies and HLS playback modification when necessary

• Apply expertise in Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Metal / OpenGL for real-time rendering and video synchronization. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as an iOS Developer for a minimum of 5 years

• Proficiency in Apple iOS development and its associated programming languages

• Deep understanding and experience with Augmented Reality technologies

• Familiarity with OpenGL for rendering 2D and 3D graphics

• Proficiency in HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) for media streaming applications

• Extensive knowledge of Core Animation for high-resolution animations and effects within iOS

• Expertise in Core Graphics for 2D rendering of graphics in iOS applications Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
