Cover-More Group
Zurich Group and Cover-More Group have agreed to acquire AIG’s global personal travel insurance and assistance business (AIG Travel), including the well-known brand, Travel Guard®.
This acquisition strengthens Cover-More Group’s global footprint and positions us as a leading travel insurer in both the U.S. and globally. This strategic move aligns perfectly with ZGV’s mission to make insurance more accessible, relevant, and meaningful to our customers. By expanding our global travel business platform, we will significantly grow our customer base. We will also strengthen our global capability through AIG Travel's global IT platform, providing an opportunity for Cover-More to extend its award-winning travel assistance apps to a broader set of partners and customers.
AIG Travel's global service centers, located in the U.S., Mexico, the UK, Bulgaria, China, the Philippines, and Malaysia, complement Cover-More's established service operations and command centers in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. This deal represents a transformative opportunity for Cover-More Group to enhance our service capabilities on a global scale.

Zurich Cover-More (ZCM) is currently looking for an Integration Workstream leader for HR Systems & Operations as we bring together Cover-More Group (CMG) and AIG Travel into the newly established Zurich Cover-More organization. This position reports to the Chief People Officer and will be based in either the new Zurich Cover-More headquarters in New York City or the Zurich North America headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. Special remote/virtual office consideration will be made only for the right candidate. This is a newly created role that will be fully dedicated to the successful integration efforts of this work over a period of 18 to 24 months.
In this exciting opportunity you will leverage your extensive HR systems, technology and operations experience to partner with the Chief People Officer in building the fundamental capabilities of a successful HR Operations and systems-enabled People Function. The primary accountability for this role will initially be to lead ZCM through a successful implementation of Success Factors in October 2025. This will include managing through the deprecation of all existing HR systems that will be impacted. In leading this workstream effort, we will simultaneously be preparing ZCM for a future state of streamlined data-driven HR operations for all people processes and tools. As a workstream leader, extensive collaboration across multiple Zurich functions and their teams will be required. You will bring a strategic, innovative, and solutions-oriented analytical mindset as we build our newly formed company’s People capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Project planning and program management lead for ZCM for all HR workstream bodies of work tied to the launch of Success Factors (Phase One) in Oct 2025Overseeing all required integration of existing CMG & Zurich North America (ZNA) HR systems
Ensuring successful deprecation of impacted CMG & any other HR systemsBuilding a streamlined and fully integrated system-driven onboarding & off-boarding process
In partnership with the Integration Workstream Lead for Compensation and the HR Integration Workstream Lead, deliver on all required integration-specific outcomes following the acquisition of AIG Travel
Partnering with Zurich North America HR Operations, CMG HR Operations & ZCM HRBPs to build out required ZCM operational support mechanisms (people analytics, standard & ad hoc reporting, etc.) that will enable efficiency and agility across the People Function in its future state
Building the model for post-Day-Two HR Operations resourcing; and if required, setting up the team accordingly
Coordinating regional HR Operations initiatives while working in close collaboration with the respective HRBPs and Centers of Expertise
Supporting the HR workstreams of complex projects such as business transformation, restructuring or new business ventures as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the HR Systems & Operations area
Strong project and program management experience
Demonstrated skills in systems process design
Ability to effectively interface with senior executives as needed regarding program status and project needs/requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts verbally and in writing
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Ability to effectively lead and drive impact through others
Strong experience in relationship management
Results-oriented
MBA or Masters in Human Resources
At Zurich Cover-More, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is$149,500 – 224,900with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 25%.
