Job Title: Inbound Associate

Job Description

The Inbound Associate is responsible for performing inbound tasks such as each-based cycle counting, quality control, scrapping, and 3-scan receiving.

Responsibilities

• Processing all inbound deliveries quickly and accurately using computers, RF Scanning Guns, and motorized equipment to complete all required transactions.

• Scanning labels on packages, loading packaging machines with boats, and labeling packages with printed labels.

• Applying knowledge of processes, production methods, and products to everyday operations.

• Assisting in shutdown procedures and special requirements.

• Performing replenishment processes.

• Transferring finished products and raw materials around the plant and warehouse.

• Performing cycle counts.

• Ensuring quality assurance of raw and finished materials.

• Following safe food practices specific to the department.

• Picking food products and packing them in racks, verifying items using UPC codes.

• Stacking processed food products in totes and boxes.

• Scanning labels on packages, loading totes and boxes, and labeling packages with printed labels.

• Assisting in housekeeping of the department.

• Maintaining excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse.

• Breaking down and stocking production shelves.

Essential Skills

• Experience with fresh produce.

• Experience with scanning equipment for put away.

• Experience in receiving, stocking, or inventory.

• Ability to stay in cold environments for 8 hours at 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.

• Ability to stand/walk for 6-10 hours or more.

• Single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.

• Bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.

Work Environment

Constant exposure to temperatures below -10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing) and 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50
