POSITION DUTIES: Build, manage and grow the beverage program of the company, including developing new and advanced cocktail recipes, Japanese cocktails and curating sake, spirit and wine list to pair with; develop seasonal recipes; manage all bar related operations and sales; provide adequate training for other bartenders and bar staff in cocktail mixology techniques and customer service standards; oversee all bar purchasing and ordering activities; ensure that beverages are prepared and served to customers by meeting customer service standards; ensure cleanliness of the bar operation areas and the bar operations comply with applicable safety and hygiene regulations, standards and procedures. Report to Chef de Cuisine. RATE OF PAY: $60,000.00 per year MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 12 months experience in bartender, bar manager, or related role. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: None. REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have knowledge of (equivalent to six (6) months experience with or relevant certification in) Japanese sakes and spirits. Must also have at least one (1) year experience with bar menu creation in Japanese style cocktail bar or restaurant.
