Point72, L.P. has an opening for a Front-End Surveillance Software Engineer in New York, NY. May work from home up to 2 days week.Build, optimize, and maintain front-end web application. Write robust, highly tested, code. Use web technologies to build interfaces. Participate in application design and architecture reviews. Participate in agile, iterative software development process. Collaborate closely with business and engineering stakeholders. Must possess at least a master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role. Must also possess the following: at least 3 years of experience in Typescript, HTML and SCSS/CSS; at least 3 years of experience writing self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components; at least 3 years of experience writing valid unit tests in Playwright, Jasmine/Jest or any other modern testing framework; at least 2 years of experience using Angular and NgRx and/or React and RxJS; at least 2 years of experience with D3.js for building interactive graphs and visualizations; at least 1 year of experience with AWS and GCP for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment; and demonstrable experience working with Angular Framework in a SaaS environment, including experience implementing caching and syncing mechanisms to improve offline usage and performance of web and mobile applications.
