Project FIND’s mission is to provide low- and moderate-income and homeless seniors with the services and support they need to enrich their lives and live independently. Today Project FIND operates three supportive housing residences that are home to about 600 people and four senior centers with over 3,000 members. Job Summary:The Front Desk Monitor 2 plays a critical role in the housing program as this position is the first point of contact for both clients, visitors, and vendors. They help coordinate non-clinical needs of clients by assisting the Front Desk Monitor 1, as well as clients, staff and vendors with daily requests and needs. They also control the front door and assist staff in crisis situations as they occur. It is expected that the Front Desk Monitor 2 provides excellent customer service at all times. This position also conducts regular tours of the building, monitors activities of the lobby area and completes incident reports, as appropriate.Responsibilities include:Greets all visitors entering the facility by announcing their arrival to staff and cliEnsures all visitors sign in and out asPrepares logs and reports related to front deskObserves and reports incidents, concerning activities, and high-risk situations to appropriate staff.Monitor's entrance and exit points managing clients, visitors, and contractors.Makes periodic rounds of the building and documents any hazardous conditions orFollows assigned procedures in emergency situations.Handles or assists in crises situationCompletes Incident Reports in AWARDSQualifications:Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems.High School Diploma orAbility to sit, walk and stand for numerousHas an understanding, appreciation, and commitment to the philosophy and mission of ProjectEstablish and maintain polite, professional, and effective working relationships with allPatrols property on foot, securing personnel, assets, building, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all-weather conditions.Good oral and written communicationShows initiative and is responsible for followAbility to work independently and as part of aAbility to maintain confidential information, as related to theProvides excellent customer service at all times.Basic level computer skills; Microsoft Word andDemonstrated flexibility with the ability to change priorities with limited notice including working overtime and being available to work with littleAbility to lift packages and other items up to 10 Part-time Schedule:Saturday & Sunday: 8am-4pm; Monday 4pm-12am Please note this position requires the availability and flexibility to occasionally work some weekends and holidays.Project FIND participates in E-Verify, which confirms employment authorization through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
