Job Title: Financial Analyst II

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to support our forecasting efforts and manage various financial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, forecasting, and long-term planning, as well as familiarity with financial systems such as Cognos or ORACLE.

Responsibilities

  • Support forecasting efforts of operating expenses, headcount, and resource allocation.

  • Manage requisitions and headcount management in roster.

  • Create and manage P&L reporting in financial systems such as Cognos.

  • Process site vendor invoices, including inbound and outbound.

  • Review invoices and properly assign GL coding.

  • Review and research vendor terms and follow up with relevant teams for clarification.

  • Compare amounts billed by vendors to contractual rates and investigate discrepancies.

  • Submit claims for refunds and accounts payable upload templates for approval.

  • Maintain invoice database and resolve general ledger coding issues.

  • Review and resolve invoice issues with Accounts Payable, including on-hold reports and duplicate invoice issues.

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements to identify discrepancies.

  • Research and resolve vendor issues, including follow-up on past due invoices and new vendor setup.

  • Correspond with vendors to research and resolve inquiries and issues.

  • Support business planning for the next year, including a 3-year plan and quarterly forecasts.

  • Assist with headcount management and planning.

  • Work with large data sets and utilize database skills or automation skills.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in finance support.

  • Bachelor's degree required; secondary degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in finance and advanced Excel.

  • Experience with Cognos or similar financial planning software.

  • Ability to work with large data sets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and long-term planning.

  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Cognos or ORACLE.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. The team is busy with business planning for the next year and involves weekly meetings and monthly financial reviews. During heavier planning cycles, daily syncs may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00
