JPMorgan Chase Executive Search Lead, Asset Management - Executive Director in New York, New York

As the Executive Director, Executive Search Lead, you will be responsible for directing a team and executing senior level recruiting assignments across Asset Management. The Executive Search team focuses on Managing Director and strategic Executive Director level hires through a combination of owning and delivering executive search services and consulting on strategic internal mobility opportunities.

In addition to working on live opportunities, you will be accountable for enhancing the overall strategic delivery of the Executive Search function for Asset Management, serving as a thought leader supporting the Executive Search Community of Practice, and identifying new areas of opportunity for the executive search team to enhance our strategic offerings and drive value across your client group.

You will also focus on supporting all aspects of proactive Executive Talent Mapping for Asset Management including, competitive intelligence, market mapping, succession planning and confidential project work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of enhanced executive search strategy for Asset Management

  • Lead and manage a team of executive recruiters, providing Executive Search Support of our most senior clients, services provided include: executive search, executive research, talent mobility and executive talent projects with a special and ongoing focus on diversity

  • Work across the Executive Search Community of Practice to unify best practices, while continuing to deliver differentiated Asset Management executive search support

  • Define and deliver on client and candidate service level agreements to provide a best-in-class experience

  • Design and deliver on JPMorgan Chase's strategic executive search differentiators

  • Provide a stable and resilient operations environment by ensuring solid focus around risks and controls

  • Partner and network with HR Business Advisors and senior leaders across the organization to influence hiring decisions and process

  • Engage with vendors and execute search agreements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing a team of executive search professionals in a fast paced, global matrixed environment

  • 10+ years of experience in managing senior level client expectations in the executive search space and delivering against those expectations in a global matrixed environment

  • Proven ability to design and deliver a function defining executive search strategy

  • The ability to foster strong working relationships with senior managers and candidates is paramount; as such, consultative, strategic thought leadership is key to the incumbent's success

  • Strong player coach mentality able to inspire a remote team of workers to continue to do their best, every day

  • Ability to balance client demands and demands as part of a leadership team in Talent Acquisition

  • Excellent judgement and high standards, demonstrated ability to elevate and escalate and/or address issues as needed

  • Ability to cultivate trust and build relationships across the Talent Acquisition function

  • High commercial awareness with ability to successfully negotiate significant compensation packages

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Strong executive presence with instant credibility "
