Customer Data and Relationship platform (CDRP) is playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization strategy for managing customer data enterprise wide establishing Customer360 (C360 ) as a trusted authority in customer data management and creating a single source of truth about customers. C360 Platform provides a holistic view of the customer's relationships with various American Express products and manages customers demographics and linkages driving intelligent insights for servicing , marketing , risk, fraud, and digital experiences. This platform is an integral part of all enterprise customer journeys and is at the fore front of all the new initiatives organization is undertaking. In C360, we build and manage highly scalable services using event-driven reactive architecture.

This role of Engineer will be an integral part of C360 engineering team that designs and builds large-scale, cloud-native, event-driven reactive applications to create 360-degree view of the customer. Engineer will enable full stack development including Front-end development on Customer360 Portal , Backend development creating APIs / Microservices and BigData development on BigData ecosystem.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Engineer new micro-services that help manages our rapidly growing data hub.

  • Code and develop using reactive programming highly scalable APIs.

  • Delivery of process automations, tooling, and instrumentation for resiliency.

  • Build of services to perform real time data processing at scale for relational, analytical queries across multi-dimensional data.

  • Responsible for setting and driving team goals

  • Improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our data pipelines.

  • Work on cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with Engineers across organizations.

  • Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 2 years of experience in building large scale distributed applications with object-oriented design using java related stack.

  • Ability to implement scalable, high performing, secure, highly available solutions

  • Expertise in Java and building clean code.

  • Experience with Docker/OpenShift based deployment is a plus.

  • Experience in Event Driven Microservice architecture – Vert.X.

  • Proficient in developing solution architecture for business problems and communicating it to large teams.

  • Proficient in weighing pros and cons of different solution options and gaining alignment on the preferred option with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, Couchbase, etc.

  • Expertise with Rest API development.

  • Experience with automated release management using Maven, Git, Jenkins.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Big Data technologies like Hive, Map Reduce, and Spark

  • Experience with Postgres, Python.

  • Experience on Machine Learning / AI.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually bonus benefits
