We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working at a 400 unit facility under a leading national electrical contractor !!!

Location: Rocky Hill, Connecticut

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Facility: Our 400-unit Facility in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, is seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join our maintenance team.

The facility MAY include a mix of apartments and common areas, requiring regular electrical maintenance and emergency repairs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on all electrical systems within the facility.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.

  • Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices.

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and provide timely solutions.

  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure the overall upkeep of the facility.

  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.

  • Stay updated with the latest electrical codes and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Electrician’s license in the state of Connecticut. ( MUST HAVE EITHER E1, E2, OR Apprenticeship card)

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
