Description

The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC)/NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking an outstanding radiologist to lead our Division of Neuroradiology.

This is a unique opportunity to build a growing division in a department known for clinical, research, and educational excellence. The Chief of Neuroradiology will oversee imaging throughout the CUIMC/NYP system and provide vision and leadership for our robust research and education activities, which include research in AI and technological advances in imaging and clinical care.

Our busy neuroradiology program serves hospital and outpatient locations throughout Manhattan and Westchester, including underserved areas in northern Manhattan. The division consists of 15 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty expertise and interests, including ENT, spine imaging, pediatric neuroimaging, advanced MR imaging techniques, cancer, stroke, neurodegenerative disorders, and MS. Faculty participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of excellent radiology residents and neuroradiology fellows, engage in numerous research projects to advance the field, and hold leadership positions in local and national radiology societies.

We seek candidates with excellent communication and leadership skills and an ability to manage an outstanding research team. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated commitment to training and education are highly valued. The division chief reports directly to the Chair of Radiology.

Salary range is $400,000 - $550,000. Columbia offers a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Training and experience in neuroradiology required.
