As a Business Performance Leader (Director of Project Management), this person will partner with key stakeholders across the Retail Bank to help influence and execute on our key imperatives. Problem solving, Results focus and Teamwork will be key competencies, in this highly collaborative role.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of:
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Being highly effective in leveraging and translating data into collaborative and influence experiences
Ability to communicate and influence senior leaders effectively, through excellent oral and written communication skills and a service-minded attitude

Responsibilities of this role may include:
Designing, developing, and managing process initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Leading associates across multiple job families through the lens of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging; coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of attracting, developing, and retaining talent at Capital One
Building and maintaining great relationships with partners and stakeholders including - front line leaders, product and tech organization - to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive results
Representing Bank Servicing, across all levels of the organization and with external partners by leveraging strong leadership presence and communication skills
Staying informed of industry advancements and industry best practices
Leading process reinvention strategies with largely horizontal impacts
Serving as subject matter expert on process improvement initiatives
Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office (McLean VA, Richmond VA, New York NY, or Wilmington DE) and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 7 years of experience in Process Management
At least 7 years of experience in People Management
At least 4 years of experience in Strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
Process or Project Management certification (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP), Business Management certification
9+ years of experience in Process Management
9+ years of experience in People Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $202,400 - $231,000 for Director, Project ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
