Citigroup Director, Pricing Model Management - Commercial Cards in New York, New York

The Director, Pricing Model Management will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the TTS Commercial Cards Pricing Model. The Cards Pricing Model is the primary tool through which the Cards Sales and Client Executive Teams develop card program offers for existing clients (i.e., rebids) and new clients (i.e., new deals). The Pricing Model Management Head will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of all regional and global pricing tools, with a vision to consolidate all available tools into one and rolled out across all Clusters and Countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the standards for the Cards Pricing Model, including the necessary management processes aligned to key data sets across core Price elements (i.e., market data, payments networks pricing and interchange, product hierarchy, pricing environments, revenue, and expense assumptions, etc.), model risk (including model methodology and validation), product control (P&L review).

  • Build reporting dashboards to report key data metrics and provide meaningful insight on data analysis performed to support timely decision-making where required.

  • Develop a comprehensive Pricing Model for Commercial Cards, which will be the standard for use across all Regions/Clusters, with the ability to run various pricing scenarios according to specific needs, providing the necessary output necessary to run the Cards business in a profitable manner.

  • Develop and implement the governance processes necessary to run the Commercial Cards pricing model, and identify the appropriate stakeholders (including Finance, Controllers, Accounting Policy, Sales, Client Executive, Operations, Technology, Product, others) who will be critical in the use of the model for business growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in developing complex financial models, with a focus on, but not limited to, pricing models for financial products.

  • Demonstrated expertise with data analysis and modeling tools, including MS Excel.

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and recommend ways to improve quality, controls, and efficiency.

  • Deep understanding of the Cards business, especially on the Commercial side, is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated experience in Finance, and understanding of the interplay between Product, Sales, Account Management, Pricing, Finance, and Treasury.

  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to develop a tool as well as to implement its use across the Sales and Client Executive organizations at Citi Services.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and able to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity, and a fast-changing dynamic work environment.

Education:

  • BA/BSc in Finance, Statistics, or similar degree

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
