Job Description

Celebrating its 50th year, GREAT PERFORMANCES (GP) stands alone in a constantly evolving media landscape as America's only continuing showcase for the performing arts, shining a national spotlight on the best in music, opera, dance, and theater. It reaches viewers via broadcast and streaming on a scale far beyond the scope of any single performance space or arts institution.

An immediate opportunity us available for a Digital Production Fellow who will be responsible for supporting digital and social media efforts for Great Performances. In addition, the Digital Fellow will manage a production project for digital and social platforms, supporting Great Performances' digital output. This Fellowship is funded for a period of one year.

Qualified candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional qualifications include:

  • Previous experience (including internships) in producing content for digital and social media;
  • Prior experience (including internships) working in content production and product development environments;
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud as well as working knowledge of Premiere and After Effects;

Candidates with the following are preferred: relevant experience in the performing arts, prior experience working with digital channels and platforms, including web, social video, and podcasting and experience working with video and media management.

This is a hybrid position and will be required to work from our offices at 825 Eighth Avenue as needed. The WNET Group reserves the right to change and/or modify the hybrid schedule at its discretion.

The WNET Group offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment. Salary ranges are based on benchmarked nonprofit and industry related data provided by an outside consulting firm and are commensurate with skills and experience. The hiring salary range for this position is $58,500 - $60,000. Internal equity considerations will be reviewed before making a final offer.
