Data EngineerCherre Inc.New York, NYJob Description:● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Devops, and Software Engineers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data solutions;● Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity;● Use GitHub for version control to track and manage changes in pipeline and infra code;● Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using technologies such as Airflow for orchestrating workflows;● Perform data analysis on big data to gain insights about client data and test data quality;● Utilize programming languages such as Python for building data processing applications and automation scripts;● Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy machine learning models into production, ensuring scalability and efficiency;● Perform data modeling and create design documents and ERDs.Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field followed by 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience performing data analysis on real estate data in the real estate industry. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently: 1) 1 year of experience with data building tools (DBT) for managing data transformations.2) 1 year of experience using Python, Java, or Scala. 3) 1 year of experience writing efficient and optimized queries using SQL.4) 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.5) 1 year of experience with version control systems, including Git, for managing codebase.6) 1 year of experience using cloud platforms, including Google Cloud.7) 1 year of experience performing data analysis on big data to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations in large amounts of raw data to help make data-informed decisions.
