Meta Data Analyst, Client Data Services in New York, New York

Summary:

In this role, you will work with a highly collaborative team of data analysts, product/program managers, and a cross-functional team of software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to optimize growth and strategy for client data services. You will see a direct correlation between your work, company growth, and customer support data insights. Beyond this, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry, solving some of the most interesting data challenges with efficiency and integrity.

Required Skills:

Data Analyst, Client Data Services Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way.

  2. Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations for allocated areas of ownership.

  3. Design, build and launch new data models and visualizations in production, leveraging common development toolkits.

  4. Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance.

  5. Build dashboards and reports to track effectiveness and efficiency improvements over time, and guide future decisions.

  6. Establish close working relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including deal leads, data engineering, and product development teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.)

  3. 4+ years of experience working in an analytical capacity developing insights, defining metrics, and making recommendations.

  4. Presentation and communications experience with extracting insights from technical data sets to varied audiences.

  5. Experience thinking strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.

  1. Experience with one or more of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, business intelligence, data visualization, data privacy and data pipelining.

Public Compensation:

$104,000/year to $146,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
