Audacy Coordinator, Sports in New York, New York

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join Audacy’s central sports team. The Coordinator, Sports will manage and track Audacy Sports content and assets, talent and partner contracts, and coordinate with local programming teams to track fulfillment and performance of national sales programs. You will work cross-functionally with the various teams at Audacy to execute campaigns and improve existing workflows and communication.

This role is open to remote work in any of Audacy's 48 markets.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate directly with the Vice President of Sports to address daily programming needs

  • Manage the Audacy Sports Insider Program, including budgeting, negotiating talent contracts, coordinating and tracking talent appearances on local stations and podcasts, and ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship obligations

  • Schedule BetQL insider call-ins on sports stations, podcasts, and other platforms for promotional, marketing, and sponsorship purposes

  • Work closely with the Sports Monetization Team and local sports brands to implement nationally sponsored programs, track performance, and assist in campaign recaps

  • Maintain a comprehensive repository of play-by-play rights deals, detailing term dates, marketing assets, financial obligations, streaming rights, sellable inventory, distribution methods, and exclusive team content opportunities

  • Manage league streaming rights agreements, build and track master station play-by-play schedules, and collaborate with the digital operations team to provide data reporting for league partners

  • Oversee the Audacy Sports merch e-commerce business

  • Coordinate and support syndication of nationally produced special programs

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of total work experience in sports media

  • Understanding of the podcasting and sports radio landscape

  • Experience in managing talent, contracts, and executing sponsorship campaigns

  • Highly adept and proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides or other similar applications

  • Superb organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management

  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken

  • Ability to efficiently work independently, while having a knack for leading a collaborative process

  • Capacity to multitask

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated starting salary range expressing interest in this position is $45,000 - $53,500 per year. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
