This position will provide essential administrative support across various HR domains, including HR systems management, staff training, recruitment, and meticulous employee record-keeping. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, this role requires an agile touch-balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining impeccable organization and attention to detail.What you'll do:Specific responsibilities of the human resources coordinator include the following:Learn and leverage company policies and practices.Become a well-versed user of human resources information and applicant tracking systems.Assist with onboarding and off-boarding processes and complete employee action workflows, regular and ad hoc reporting, audits, and other data validation or reporting exercises.Notify the appropriate departments of employee hires and separations.Assist with responding to questions about payroll, benefits, time and attendance, hiring processes, and company policies, with the support of HR staff and the Director of HR & Talent Acquisition.Assist with talent acquisition functions including interview scheduling, resume review, and candidate screening.Provide broad support to the team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics, maintaining shared drives, keeping organization charts current, and other special projects.Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion regarding business matters, data, and documents.What you'll bring:Ability to interact effectively with diverse people in different contexts and foster equity and inclusion through self-awareness, cultural sensitivity, and valuing othersDedication to public service with an unfailing commitment to act with civility, be nonpartisan in performing CSG Justice Center duties, and be a responsible steward of member and donor fundsAt least 2 years of relevant experience providing HR administrative support or equivalent educational experienceExpertise with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience navigating Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)Experience with project management, scheduling, or other organizational software a plusStrong interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levelsCustomer-service orientation ability to answer employee questions quickly and accuratelyExtreme flexibility, organizational skills, and ability to easily shift prioritiesExcellent follow-through, time management, and attention to detailExperience with mid-sized workplaces (100-500 employees) as well as nonprofit or other social impact organizations preferredThe highest degree of trustworthiness, reliability, integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and tactReliable and secure internet/data connection and flexibility for using a personal device for internet connectivity during business travel. Compensation will be equitable and based on experience and geography. The salary range for this position is $57,500-$78,000 per year.
