What skills will you apply in this role?
This position manages the allocation, distribution, and delivery of all non-saleable goods (launch and basic collateral). You will work closely with Account Planner to ensure marketing collateral is assigned to the right doors to drive sales. In addition, you will partner with CDOPS, NACOPS, Event Management and Account Services to ensure non-saleable for launch is on time and available for successful launch and new door execution. In addition you will deliver actionable retail analytics to help support the commercial, marketing and planning teams. Other cross functional partnerships include marketing, global supply, and planners.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all Commercial Collateral.
Manage non-saleable collateral including tester units & testers, samples, dramming supplies, other marketing materials, pre-packs and hygienic supplies.
Support management of collateral budget including monthly reporting to finance and management.
Work with Commercial Lead to develop Account/door Level collateral forecasts and allocations.
Owner of allocation methodologies for collateral.
Develop priority ship schedule based on brand side-by-side calendar for all accounts and national calendar; prioritizes ship deadlines based on needs.
Manage tester unit updates, attends VM meetings etc.; manages testers.
Marketing Grid to Support Event Management
Work closely with Event Management to ensure that they are conducting SAP validation for launches within a timely manner.
Partner with Commercial Lead and planner to input all new launches in Mi9.
Partner with Planning to ensure accounts are ordering into full new launch allocations.
Reporting/Account Management
Partner with Commercial Lead to publish weekly & monthly sales, new launch sell thru, sets analysis.
Confirm and upload audited sales by retailer on a regular basis.
Track and update by door run rate report on a regular basis.
Run & Develop reports for internal and external leadership meetings that deliver actionable retailer analytics.
Manage pure player/indie accounts in partnership with Commercial Lead (Luckyscent, Net-a-porter, Violetgrey, The Mark Hotel).
Partner with account leads on the forecasting of all non-saleable & track all orders by account.
Partner with planning to deliver IN/OUT of stock reports on a regular basis to ensure optimization of OTBs.
Sample Forecasting/Management:
- Work together with trade teams (omni) to secure forecasting, align on programs, manage budget and timeline and roll forecasts monthly.
Distribution/NDO:
Maintain distribution grid for product and merchandising.
Point person for New Door Openings
Manage & Update Distribution grid as new doors open, and doors become “comp”.
Market Season Support:
Work closely with Commercial Lead .and Marketing to ensure gratis is ordered and packed
Ensure retailer contact list is updated prior to all meetings
Connect with VM team to set up room
Qualifications
Qualifications - External
Bachelor’s degree required.
2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in marketing ops or product forecasting
Project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle many competing priorities at once and deliver on time
Strong business savvy and analytical acumen
Able to coordinate across roles and functions effectively
Familiar with components of a marketing program
Advanced Excel capability: analyze and manipulate large amounts of data in excel
Able to coordinate across roles and functions effectively
Ability to work independently
Proficient in all MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $0.00 to $0.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
