Job Description
Responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:
Respond to all tenant inquiries over the phone or in-person pertaining to Emergency Transfers, and other request referred by the Customer Contact Center, internal departments and external
sources.
Research information in NYCHA’s data bases in order to provide accurate updates to the tenant regarding their transfer inquires.
Provide tenants support, information, and referrals to NYCHA developments, Family Partnerships and to our formal partners.
Maintain reports on inquires received by the Customer Contact Center and other sources.
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with NYCHA staff and community-based organizations, in order to have a thorough understanding of citywide, borough-wide and development-
specific programs to ensure the best possible referral.
Maintain statistical reports for referrals received by the Customer Contact Center and other sources.
Update information, performing data entry regarding tenant/worker dialogue and any vital updates to transfers as requested by the tenant.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.
