Wow us with your expertise in WordPress, PowerPoint, and social content (in support of the hundreds of conference presentations delivered by our engineers each year)./divdivbrAs part of Bloomberg’s Innovation Communications team, you will be responsible for helping enhance Bloomberg’s reputation by telling our story as an innovator, a great place for engineers to work, and a key partner to the financial industry. /divdivbrWe’ll trust you to: brbr/divdiv● Help build and execute integrated external and employee communications strategies, programs, and actions that enable recruitment and recognition of top talent. /divdiv● Provide counsel to senior management and subject matter experts to build and burnish the perception of Bloomberg as a technology leader /divdiv● Collaborate with engineering leaders and marketing/communications teams to shape and articulate Bloombergs commitment to innovation /divdiv● Support communications leadership in developing and executing media relations strategies including building and maintaining relationships with print, electronic, and broadcast media in business, finance and technology arenas /divdiv● Handle reactive and proactive media and analyst relations /divdiv● Report on appropriate KPIs and metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness of external communications /divdiv● Interact with PR/Comms agency partners /divdivYou’ll need to have: /divdiv● A Bachelors degree, along with at least 4 years of experience developing and implementing communications programs for business/financial, trade, and/or technology media; developer communications a plus /divdiv● Strong writing, editing and presentation skills /divdiv● The ability to provide timely, appropriate, and accurate counsel to engineering and communications leaders to address issues and capitalize on opportunities /divdiv● The ability to translate complex technology-related issues and opportunities into messaging that resonates with target audiences /divdiv● Experience implementing integrated communications strategies, including thought-leadership content development, digital content (blogs, videos, and social media), as well as analyst relations /divdivbrWe’d love to see: brbr/divdiv● Strong self-confidence and adaptability, a change agent who thrives in a fast-paced environment with autonomy /divdiv● Emotional intelligence (EQ): the ability to put yourself in your stakeholders shoes /divdiv● The ability to see opportunities and challenges, and offer practical solutions /divdiv● The ability to multitask, for example seamlessly shifting from working with media to helping an engineer prepare for a conference talk to publishing digital content /divdiv● Comfort working shoulder-to-shoulder in an open plan environment /divdiv● A secret power, a sense of humor — or both. /divdivbr/divdiv /divdiv /divdiv /divdiv /divdiv /divdiv /divdiv/div
