Job Summary

Working as a Catering Manager at a corporate dining account in Manhattan, you will supervise and ensure the successful operation of the catering department. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule (daytime and evening availability required. Average of 4-5 evening events per month).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute all catered events.

• Build and maintain outstanding relationships with clients and guests to consistently exceed expectations

• Commit to continous improvement of services and stay up to date on trends

• Manage catering associates

• Assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of food service experience restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.

• 1 year of experience with lead or supervisory experience

• Knowledge and experience with food and catering trends

• Proficient computer skills

• ServSafe Certification, preferred
