Description

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York, 10018, United States. This role involves supporting our client in the construction industry, during their busy period. The individual will be primarily responsible for handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, entering expenses, Credit Card Reconciliations, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks efficiently

• Enter expenses and perform credit card reconciliations

• Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and data entry tasks

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare bank reconciliations

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments

• Ensure accuracy in processing customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations

• Adhere to all industry regulations and standards in performing all tasks

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively

• Demonstrated skill in Data Entry with high level of accuracy

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or finance is preferred
