Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Analystin New York, New York
Support the Firm's stress testing programs, including analyzing stress loss scenarios and results. Work with stakeholders to understand key loss drivers and variances over time. Develop methods and tools to enhance governance and increase efficiencies of various stress testing processes. Produce documentation and presentations to effectively communicate key risk information to senior management and regulators. Work with stakeholders across teams and divisions to ensure adherence to regulatory guidance and best practices. Support various ad-hoc requests from senior management.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $105,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Computational Finance, Financial Risk Management, or a related field of study and one (1) years of experience in the position offered or one (1) years as a Credit Risk Analytics Associate, Financial Data Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience with: using SQL and Excel to conduct data analysis; using VBA to design and perform macro automation; using R and Excel statistical packages to analyze stress loss regression models; applying infrastructures skills including, uploading, debugging, updating, and reconciling to determine how database works; market and credit risk stress loss products including trading, counterparty and lending; developing and debugging SQL queries to perform data preparation; visualizing data by using Excel including chart with dynamic data labels, trend comparison, and display multiple targets; and automating processes for risk systems using SQL.
