Overview
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Student Activities in the Office of Student Engagement. The Associate Director will evaluate the current services model with the objective of aligning activities with the School's goal of transforming the MBA mindset towards one that is focused on broad issues and transformational leadership. The Associate Director will manage operations for MBA Student Activities for a diverse population including all aspects of club programming and student leadership. They will establish student program goals, including short and long term strategic objectives. The Associate Director will also partner with leadership to implement a series of events relating to MBA student orientations and develop and oversee implementation of a wide variety of highly visible events and projects aimed at students, alums, donors and the external community, including leading all logistics.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years progressively responsible experience developing and managing the implementation of student services, diversity, or leadership programming to a diverse population or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with events planning and implementation. Excellent strategic planning, project management, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, promote teamwork, and serve as ambassador for the School and department is also essential.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000 to USD $92,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
