Who we are looking for:

As Associate Director, Brand Strategy you will work / support a Group Director to determine research needs and support numerous launch projects for the organization. You will work very closely with and collaborate with creative teams. Like all strategists on our team, you'll be expected to inspire change through innate curiosity, a drive for impact, and an orientation that puts strategy into immediate action.

What you'll do:
  • Sets research objectives and identifies appropriate methodologies; Ensure that key insights, learning and implications are distilled and summarized.
  • Guide junior strategist in development of analysis; suggest analytical framework to meet objectives; Train junior strategists in developing insights, implications and recommendations.
  • Supervise junior strategists to develop customer journey. Uncover marketing and communication opportunities around key pain points
  • Independently craft insights that can unlock behavior changes, inform positioning and drive communication "sparks".
  • Independently craft a positioning statement that builds on full range of learning and understanding of a brand, its audience and competitive differentiation.
  • Work with Medical to ensure that benefits and RTs reflect in-depth understanding of the molecule and how it is potentially differentiated.
  • Guide junior strategists in developing creative brief and outlines needs for background briefing document
  • Review/approve minor assets before going to client to review. Ensure alignment to brief and team feedback and editorial review. Actively provide feedback in creative review meetings.
  • Draft workshop proposals; Responsible for workshop planning, coordination, logistics and all materials (pre-read, summary)
  • Works with senior strategist to help identify research needs, generate customer insights and story arc. Help prepare critical elements/sections of the pitch deck.
What you'll need:
  • 3-5+ years' experience of overall research and strategic planning experience
  • HCP and DTC marketing agency experience
  • Critical and analytical thinker, innovator and visionary that inspires creativity
  • Able to develop strong client relationships and trust based on deep immersion in the client's business
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
