As part of the Capital Markets division within Truist Securities, Inc., the Asset Securitization Group (ASG) provides structured debt capital solutions to clients of Truist Bank across a range of consumer, commercial and esoteric asset classes. The Originations team within ASG (i) partners with the structuring team, syndicate desk and sales team to place asset-backed securities (ABS) with institutional investors in the new issue market and (ii) partners with our ABS warehouse team to originate asset-backed credit facilities for our clients, funded by Truist Bank and/or syndicated to other banks and/or institutional investors. Analysts on the ASG Originations team are actively involved executing term ABS transactions for existing clients, drafting credit committee screens for new warehouse facilities and in developing pitch materials for new and existing clients. ASG collaborates with internal partners including Banking, Risk, Operations, and Legal to achieve seamless execution, appropriate risk mitigation and strong client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Works closely with senior CIB professionals.

2. Performs assigned duties with independently, including but not limited to, due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree

2. Licenses: Series 7, 79, and 63

3. Proven analytical ability and attention to detail

4. Solid leadership and interpersonal skills

5. Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

6. Strong written and oral communication skills

7. 1+ years of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program

Preferred Qualifications :

1. 1+ years of securitization experience, preferably at an investment bank, rating agency or accounting firm.

The Annual Base Salary for this position in New York is $110,000.
