Job Title: Intermediate Architect
Job Description
In this role, you will support the project team in the development of design drawings, construction documents, and drawing coordination. You will perform and coordinate site surveys, prepare due diligence reports, and conduct building code reviews. In addition, you will interpret design concepts by partnering with the Design Team and translate them into workable construction drawings, evaluate alternatives to develop solutions, and maintain quality technical and design control. You may also work with the client to confirm objectives and formulate options, and may participate in marketing efforts.
Hard Skills
5-7 years professional experience
Bachelor or Master Degree in architecture or equivalent
Experience in Workplace, Retail or Media/Broadcast
Extensive experience in developing Design & Construction Documents
Thorough knowledge of construction materials, standards, codes
Onsite construction field experience
Ability to conceptualize a project schedule, and meet project deadlines
Proficiency in Revit
Soft Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, consultants, internal team and contractors
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail
Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined
Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others
Work Site
This is a hybrid position, where you will be in-office 4 days and 1 day remote in Manhattan, New York.
