Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in the Real Estate Development and Management industry for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is based in New York City, New York. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be tasked with managing and processing tenant payments, undertaking reconciliations, and handling leasing procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process tenant payments with precision and efficiency

• Undertake reconciliations of the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure accuracy

• Handle residential leasing procedures and maintain relevant documentation

• Conduct bank reconciliations for financial accuracy

• Administer security deposits and ensure proper record-keeping

• Utilize Yardi for various accounting and billing functions

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing data

• Handle cash-related activities with utmost accuracy

• Uphold best practices in all accounting functions to ensure financial integrity. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required for the role

• Must have experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is necessary

• Expected to handle Cash Activity on a regular basis

• Experience in Cash Handling is crucial

• Knowledge of Yardi software will be advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Should have experience in handling Security Deposits
