Growing Midtown New York City firm is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their real estate team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role, and a deep understanding of Yardi software.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and paying invoices promptly and accurately.

• Managing vendor relations and responding to inquiries regarding payment.

• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchase orders, vender files, and payment transactions.

• Reconciling accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Checking processed work by auditing post-data-entry reports to detect error.

• Utilizing Yardi software to manage and keep track of all transactions and activities.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.

• 2+ years experience in accounts payable, with a preference for experience in real estate.

• Proficient in Yardi software.

• Strong understanding of payment regulations and fair credit practices.

• Excellent data entry skills and a knack for numbers.

• Ability to handle confidential information.

• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
