Description

Our client, a leader in the renewable energy space is currently seeking an Accounting Associate to join their exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn first-hand about the lifespan of large, solar projects such as debt financing, tax equity, fund performance, and ad hoc financing initiatives. The Accounting Associate will play a key role in overseeing the preparation and completion of various financial deliverables, including management reporting, financial reporting and lender reporting. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing internal models for cross-entity cost allocations, fee and income tracking, updating portfolio valuation status, fund distributions, cash, inventory, and sales tax management. The position is on-site in Midtown with the ability to WFH on occasion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• Minimum 1year of relevant experience

• Strong understanding of US GAAP
