The Amazon Business Centralized Marketing team is seeking an experienced Paid Media Marketing Manager to join our global Paid Media Team. In this role, you will create world class marketing strategies to support our mission to grow Amazon Business globally. You will define, plan, execute, and measure Paid Media Campaigns (social, display ads, Amazon Display, etc.) that drive customer growth. You will partner with our international marketing teams and external agency/partners as the paid media point of contact to strategize and authorize advertising launches of promotions and services. The impact of this role is significant and broad, accounting for a large percentage of our KPIs serving as a critical feature of overall marketing at Amazon Business.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, a great communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

The Marketing Manager should be comfortable in making decisions and taking action in both an ambiguous, self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of overseeing projects to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated with strong time management and project management skills, and is technical and analytical. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Key job responsibilities

Marketing Manager, Paid Media Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Define and execute Paid Media strategies for Amazon Business worldwide.

• Define best practices and measurement of paid media channels (social, display, Amazon Ads etc.) within Amazon Business for marketing partners to follow globally.

• Act as the main Paid Media point of contact to direct external and internal partners and effectively collaborate with them to support successful advertising campaign launches.

• Take ownership for efficient use of Amazon Business advertising budget worldwide by monitoring and advising on work output from partner teams in relation to paid advertising.

• Derive actionable insights from data and synthesize to deliver and advise on improvements to campaign performance.

• Report progress against goals and presenting relevant metrics to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, and time to market.

• Write joint business review documents, experimentation roadmaps and campaign plans that work backwards from the customer.

We are looking for candidates with:

• The ability to create innovative marketing programs and/or partnerships to drive customer acquisition through paid advertising, demonstrating strategic thinking and leadership.

• Strong management skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

• Strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards decision making based on data. The ability to take, drive and/or influence global strategic decisions.

• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills, able to use it to analyze, extract insights and present recommendations.

• The ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.

• Agency or agency setting experience managing advertising campaigns across brand awareness, acquisition, customer engagement showcasing a strategic approach to marketing.

• Experience in owning planning, media buying and measurement for campaigns across a variety of channels such as Social, Programmatic, OLV, CTV, Direct etc.

• Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
