Here, you will make an impact by:Create production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility.Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand.Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making.Publishes and presents service and inventory metrics and results.Identifies and leads projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment. Review and reports on project progress with management.Works closely with the business to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Works closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)One (1) combined year of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, materials, or business management or engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionManufacturing experience in a manufacturing setting/environmentExperience with SAPAdvanced data analysis & Microsoft Excel skillsAPICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursueSix Sigma Green Belt experience or certificationLean Manufacturing experienceWork location:New Ulm, MNTravel: May include up to 5% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
