FORT BERTHOLD HOUSING AUTHORITY Carpenter in New Town, North Dakota
Carpenter will be under the direct supervision of the Modernization Renovation Manager. Carpenter must be able to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches. Be knowledgeable of how to take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed. Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements. Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Be skillful in laying flooring, roofing, and drywall. Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.). Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures. Follow the Carpenter Job Description and other duties as assigned.
