Google Software Engineer, Simulation Tools, Silicon in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, relevant

technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience coding in C or C++.

  • Experience with git, repo, and bug tracking tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • 3 years of experience in simulation, modeling, and virtual platform (e.g., QEMU, Gem5, ARM fastmodel).

  • Experience in driver development (e.g., Linux/Android) for mobile chipset, firmware development (e.g., RTOS, bare metal), boot loaders development.

  • Experience in automation testing.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Develop the SoC simulation solutions to support early software development for next generation SoC.

  • Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to debug software stacks.

  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, roadmap, and key learnings.

  • Troubleshoot, triage, and debug the test failure, system issues during the project development.

  • Develop IP models to support early software development for next generation SoC.
