JOB REQUIREMENTS: Your Job Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Technical Production Supervisor to support our New Richmond, WI facility. Production Supervisor will provide strong leadership for all Mold Technician activities on the production floor, emphasizing the priorities of safety, quality and efficiency to meet or exceed business plan objectives and meet customer expectations for quality, delivery and service. What You Will Do * Provide direction and leadership to all Mold Technicians, including people management as follows: managing performance; addressing disciplinary issues; hiring; assisting people with career development; communicating information to direct reports and passing information up the management chain; ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing goals/objectives; administrative processing; and, maintaining trust and confidentiality * Ensure proper and continuing training is in place and conducted for technicians based on development level. * Organize any extra coverage of technicians as needed; as well as plan for any future staffing needs. * Work with technicians, tooling department, engineers, production team, and others to determine the root cause of problems and provide solutions * Management and development of molding hardware and/or software (RJG or other injection molding monitoring systems) * Demonstrate leadership ability and foresight to plan and delegate work in advance * Organize and coordinate activities within the manufacturing operation to meet or exceed the facility and corporate goals * Consistently monitor machinery, processes, tools and work cell layouts in order to recommend improvements that yield increases in profit and quality levels and decreases potential safety hazards Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 3+ years of directly related molding experience * Proficient with computer based manufacturing systems and computers for basic business functions (email, Word, Excel) What Will Put You Ahead * Be a self-starter and possess the ability to properly manage time and projects * Good organizational, written, interpersonal and communication skills * Leadership ability to manage employees across multiple shifts * Proficient with computers and software This position does not qualify for VISA Sponsorship.
