Cassia Caregiver/ Scheduler (CNA, HHA or PCA) in New Prague, Minnesota
Praha Village is hiring a Full-Time Caregiver/ Scheduler (CNA, PCA, or HHA) to deliver quality and compassionate care to our residents in assisted living and memory care and schedule caregivers to shifts. We will train you! We take pride in our work and work as a close-knit team to enrich our residents' lives.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working 50% of the month doing on-call phone coverage. You will split the on-call phone coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays with the other Caregiver/Scheduler you will be working with. Your caregiver shifts will not be working evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Pay Range: $20 - $23 / hour depending on experience. $25 / hour when doing the on-call phone coverage at night.
What does a Caregiver/Scheduler do?
Schedule Caregivers to ensure adequate coverage.
Assist with completing employee timecards in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist residents with activities of daily living and medication administration.
Assist with mobility and transportation care.
Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
Document services performed on client service sheets and on medication administration sheets.
Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
Function as a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.
What does a Caregiver/Scheduler require?
Must have 1 year of Caregiving experience in a Assisted Living or Nursing Home
Prior experience administering medication preferred, but not required. We will train you!
A compassionate attitude and willingness to work with elderly adults.
Working knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Must be 18 years or older.
